Make Space (Before You Try to Fix Anything)
Month of Liberation | FreeStack
Yoga is one way to ensure we make space for ourselves - SaBali
There’s a difference between fixing your life and making space to actually feel it.
Most people skip the second part.
They go straight to solutions.
New routines. New plans. New goals.
But if your body is already overwhelmed, more structure just becomes more pressure.
This week, we’re focusing on something simpler:
space.
Not empty space.
Not avoidance.
But intentional space.
The kind that lets your nervous system unclench.
The kind that lets your thoughts slow down enough to hear what’s real.
The kind that reminds you:
you don’t have to rush your way into clarity.
What does making space actually look like?
It’s small.
• Sitting for a few minutes before reaching for your phone
• Not forcing yourself to have the answer right away
• Letting your body speak before your mind interrupts
• Choosing pause instead of immediate action
This is where real alignment starts.
Not in doing more.
But in creating enough room to notice what’s already there.
And if you’ve been needing a place to actually practice this…
I’m opening up something simple inside
The Autumn Canopy | Melanated Yoga FB group
✨ The Chakra Pages (7-Day Practice)
This isn’t a challenge.
This isn’t something to “keep up with.”
It’s a guided way to reconnect with your body one day at a time.
Each day, we’ll focus on a different energy center with:
• a simple prompt
• an affirmation
• and a moment of awareness you can return to
You don’t need hours.
You just need a few minutes of honesty with yourself.
If you’ve been feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or disconnected…
Start here.

You don’t need to figure everything out today.
Just make a little space.
